Leon returns to Adelaide with his latest exhibition The Return at Ex Animo Art in Hyde Park. This exhibition will showcase the multidisciplinary artist’s unique blend of painting, printmaking, mixed-media and sculpture.
For over 55 years, Leon has been using a large range of materials, always pushing the boundaries of what is possible. From a piece of interesting paper to fabric, rust, handmade trinkets, clock parts, and even a deliberate bit of kitsch, Leon’s creative process is never boring. The thrill of finding the right object, texture, or colour to complete a work can take hours of searching through his extensive collection of special pieces, resulting in a work that always worth the effort. Leon’s tireless pursuit of artistic excellence is evident in his ability to balance design, materials, and colour. The collection will showcase the depth and beauty of Leon’s artistic vision.
