This work tells the story of a wealthy, upper class English family settling in Australia during the 1800s. In this work, you can see elements from their past, present and future. The past is their English heritage shown through emblems and British artefacts. The present is their two story home, acts of fence building and growing of flowers. Their future is the "crazy new ideas" they brought with them, and combining two worlds as seen through the camel and windmill depiction.
